twenty-one

So I’m twenty-one. A great bbq party, in fact the best party I have ever been to. Brilliant. Thank you to everyone who sorted it all out. And a big thank you to alice for making it such a lovely day and evening.

I will certainly not forget the UPRC lot cock fighting with balloons in my living room! Haha. Poults on the bbq, Matt the bartender, and everyone else just drunk. Awesome.

The day was also good, head race in Soton, out of ten crews, only came second by 1.4seconds, still annoyed by that, but the winners were on their home turf and to be honest 1.4seconds is piss nothing! Especially when the race was timed by hand. O well, regatta season to start soon, so junior champs by the end of the season for sure!
Another note, my ladies crew that I am coxing appear to be doing very well for themselves too, very proud of them, the time they have been putting in is definitely paying off. Should see them junior by the end of the season too :D.

eggcellent easter

What a good easter. Didn’t have much time at home, but had a real blast visiting Alice. Went to Tunbridge wells for Alice’s birthday, which was really good fun especially Coco Lounge.

I had a nice thought on the journey back to Uni today: I am over half way done of my course! It was also a nice feeling to know that everyone is going well so far. My marks are generally good, especially the maths based exams, and I am also pretty much up-to-date with the coursework assignments (so far). – Just the rowing season to contend with now :P

Easter was so good this year that I didn’t want to leave. Nothing beats a Thursday night in the DnP and then Brazilia’s. You can try, but nothing will ever come close. In both places I recognise, if not know about 80% of the people, which makes for a great night out with the guys, especially TC, Steve, Cooke, Jambo, Poults, Sam and Davies. Just have to wait until the summer now until it can be done again.

I guess coming back to Uni isn’t that bad though, Portsmouth isn’t the worst place in the world. It gets pretty hot here and the beach is fantastic, not to mention Southsea common for BBQs and Frisbee.

Time to leave and get settled back into the house.
