no bowling

As I’m bordering on being 22, I’m sure I should no longer find things like this amusing, but I just can’t help myself.

When I’m back in Bury St Edmunds for the holidays, myself and a few friends normally go for a game of lawn bowls to keep ourselves amused on the nice summer afternoons… however not this Easter.

My friend who had got back to Bury a week before me went to the Abbey Gardens to see if the bowling green was open for business, only to find out that it was closed for a few days… a little odd I thought when he told me as it normally only gets closed after heavy rain fall, so I decided a little spot of research might shed more light onto the situation.

This is where my juvenile side comes into play. I still don’t think I’ve stopped laughing after I found that the reason the green was closed was not due to heavy rain, but due to the fact somebody had drawn a massive penis with lighter fluid in the middle of the green and set it a blaze for all those in space to see.

There is now a burnt penis shape stopping play until the grass has grown back.
